This week's Dance Piazza will feature Lali Chaves of San Juan, Puerto Rico, who will teach Latin dances, including salsa, merengue and bachata, for the first hour, 7 pm to 8 pm! I, “DJ Juju,” will spin Latin dance tunes (Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Reggaeton), along with other world dance music including Afro-beat, Bhangra, Middle Eastern, club, old-school R & B and more... Free to all ages.
Lali was born & raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, with a Caribbean passion. She teaches beginning and intermediate levels of Latin dance to individuals, groups and corporate functions to help create more diversity in communities. Her fun and dynamic style will help you to learn the Latino/Latin rhythms with the confidence of dancing to the beat of the music.
