International Yarnbombing Day

To celebrate International Yarnbombing Day, local yarnbombers waited out the rain Friday morning and then took to the streets -- mostly Dayton and Corry Streets, that is. A special effort was extended to the Morgan House Bed and Breakfast and a newly planted tree in honor of Arthur Morgan. The community event was coordinated locally by Jafagirls Nancy Mellon and Corrine Bayraktaroglu.

I am LOVING Gary Peirson's knitting at Morgan House, and Karen Russel's pole cozy next to Williams (now name karma corner by Karen).

It is fun to watch for more new pieces to pop up. I'm observing downtown more than usual these days.
