Mac-O-chee Valley Folk
It's that time again, Bluegrass Weekend in Clifton! The Clifton Opera House hosts two favorite Ohio bluegrass bands on Friday and Saturday nights. Both shows start at 7:30pm, box office opens at 6:30pm. This historic building has hosted a lot of Americana music over the years. Visiting musicians are always pleasantly surprised when they step on stage in Clifton. The acoustics of this 118 year old building are still bright and beautiful; there are no bad seats in the house with sound like this! The Clifton Opera House is a perfect venue for bluegrass music, great acoustics in an intimate setting; it seats 242 of your friends and neighbors.
The Long Family Band takes the stage on Friday night. This high energy group will keep your attention with their incredible family harmonies and high spirited comradery. They have Fun! You'll want to be part of their family! They might have taken the LONG way to get there.. but they most certainly have arrived! Long Family Band is a truly Americana band performing bluegrass, gospel, and country with just a dash of rock and roll thrown in for good measure.
