Call for artists

The B-W Greenway Community Land Trust and the Fairborn Arts Council are sponsoring an En Plein Air art exhibit at the Fairborn Art Association. We are looking for artists to participate in this event. We have $500 in prizes and had a good turn out last year.

En Plein Air is a juried exhibition that is presented as a collaboration between the B-W Greenway Community Land Trust, the Fairborn Art Association, and the City of Fairborn Parks and Recreation. It is open to artists, 18 years and older, that live within a 50-mile radius of Fairborn Ohio. The event will have Kelly Joslin, Chair of the Art Department at Sinclair Community College, as its Juror.

Schedule of Events
March-June 24, 2011 - Painting at Oakes Quarry Park

June 25, 1-3pm and 5-7pm - Work accepted at Fairborn Art Association, 221 N. Central Ave. Fairborn, Oh 45324

July 3, 1-4pm - Opening Reception with prizes awarded at 2pm
(1st—$250, 2nd—$150, 3rd—$100)

July 24 - Final Day of Exhibition (works can be picked up between 4pm and 5 pm)
