YSKP Needs Street Fair Volunteers for Oct. 9

Car-park fundraiser at Millworks

Come have fun during Street Fair and raise big $ for YSKP by helping to park cars for 1-4 hours on Saturday in the Millworks lot. Thanks to the support of the owners of the lot, we were able to raise $700 for YSKP by coordinating efforts with a team of NonStop folks.

Call or email Cheryl Keen to pick a time - we'll take 1, 2 or 4 hours of your time. Jobs include waving cars into the driveway, taking the $5 fee, or roaming the lot to point drivers to empty spots for parking. All sorts of opportunity for dramatic gestures and team work and using cool walky-talkies. Our customers were pleased with our service and we expect to park 100s of cars again. I had more fun doing this than I had weaving through crowds at Street Fair!

We'll provide a bright vest, but festive, bright clothing and headgear is encouraged. We will have Snacks and Water for all volunteers. This is a great family volunteer opportunity.
