Thanks to a grant from the Yellow Springs Community Foundation last summer, the Yellow Springs Community Council (YSCC) was able to initiate a summer camp scholarship assistance program for children living in the Village. The program was a huge success so we’re going to make it an annual program with the idea that every child should have the opportunity to attend at least one summer camp.

More details will be coming soon – watch the school mail, Yellow Springs News and this blog. Now is the time to start thinking about the right summer camp for your child. Get the camp applications ready so you can apply in May for scholarship assistance of up to $100 per child.

If you’d like to help sponsor our summer camp program, donations should be mailed to YSCC at P.O. Box 274, Yellow Springs, OH 45387. YSCC is a 501(c)(3), charitable organization – your donations are tax deductible.
