WYSO Public Radio is looking for an on-air community volunteer.
Do you have experience writing essays? Commentaries? Journalism? Are you comfortable speaking in public? Are you public service-minded, eager to share your knowledge with public radio listeners?
WYSO has a long history of volunteer commentators and we want to continue that tradition.
We're looking for an aviation commentator who knows about aviation history, contemporary issues and developments in civilian and/or military aviation.
This volunteer commentator must have the ability to make scientific concepts accessible to a general audience in a short format: three minutes or less. Radio broadcasting experience is preferred but not required. We'll teach you.
