YS Community Council Annual Meeting held at the Senior Center Thursday evening. YSCC requests and distributes nearly $20,000 in United Way funds for 9 local area organizations. The annual meeting provides an opportunity for the Recipient Organizations to explain how those UW funds help support their mission and improve the quality of life for local residents. Groups represented at the meeting were, YS Senior Center, Clifton Senior Center, YS Food Pantry, Aquatics Club, YSKP, Youth Orchestra, Riding Center and the John Bryan Youth Center.
