From the Superintendent of Schools:
As of earlier this week, we have met with all staff members involved in budget reductions for next school year. The next step is for the board of education to vote on my recommendation at next week’s board meeting. The regular meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 10 at 7 p.m. In order to give members of our community a chance to see the proposed reduction list before the board of education votes on it next week, we will be posting the list on our district website by noon [Mar. 4]. The district web address is www.yellow-springs.k12.oh.us.
It is worth noting that the list is of positions reduced, not necessarily staff members losing their employment. Many of the positions are being reduced by attrition.
