Xenia Avenue business lands $6 million contract

Anthrotech, Inc., one of those Yellow Springs companies that came out of the Antioch College think-tank days, and one of the few still left in town, has just signed a $6.1 million contract with the U.S. Army, according to an article in the Dayton Business Journal, today. The company, which has its offices on Xenia Avenue, collects and analyzes body size data. The three year contract involves 14 Army and Marine bases across the country, the article quoted the company's President Bruce Bradtmiller as saying.

According to the article, Anthrotech will be adding 20-25 employees to its staff in the first quarter of 2010.
