Experience Yellow Springs at its best…the FUN, the fabulous and the freaky all at the Cirque Carnival where the universe converges at Dayton and Corry St.

A mini Street Fair, an extravaganza of entertainment, a festival of Fun from 6:00 to10:00. Dance to live music all night including the amazing vocals of Emma Woodruff and The Undercovered. Visit vendor booths as local shops, restaurants and artists move their wares to the street. Join the Children’s Parade at 6:30. Watch the Egyptian Breeze Belly Dancers, YSKP musical revues, jugglers, yoga and much more, highlighted by the Daredevil Circus performing feats of aerial magic. End the evening amazed by the spectacular fire twirling of Soul Fire Tribe.

The entire weekend is a Yellow Springs Experience with wonderful workshops where you can create Japanese hand -made paper lanterns or sterling rings; or enjoy a foot clinic, belly dancing lesson or Ayuvedic healing. When you experience Yellow Springs you can learn an art and take home a memory.

No visit to Yellow Springs is complete without a hike in Glen Helen and lunch at a downtown eatery. Take a break at Eden World where you can stop for walk-in wellness and spa services open from 10 to 6 Saturday and Sunday. Stop by The Art Park at 100 Corry for a portrait from quick sketch artist Clarice Moore who will be on hand Saturday from 9 to 5.

Saturday night is full of entertainment starting with Synethesia at the YS Arts Council Gallery featuring the rock band The Show and artist/musician Ryan Henry from 6-9 p.m. Learn swing dancing at D.J. JuJu’s Dance Piazza at 100 Corry St. from 6-10. Or see the YS Kids Playhouse production of “The Cotton Club” at 7:30 where you can end the evening Ballroom Dancing Under the Stars after the show at the Antioch College Amphitheatre.
