To kick off this year's edition of the Antioch Writers' Workshop, there will be a keynote speech at Antioch Midwest tonight (Sat. 7/9) at 7 p.m. by Nancy Pickard. Pickard is the best selling author of The Scent of Rain and Lightning, The Virgin of the Small Plains, and Seven Steps on the Writer's Path as well as numerous mystery novels.
