Friends of JJ Yates, musician and former resident of Yellow Springs who was severely injured in a brutal attack last month, have organized a benefit for him at Peach’s this Fridat, May 28. Michael Kelsey, Nerak Roth Patterson, Rob Heiliger and others will perform starting at 9 p.m.

No one who has known JJ will be surprised to hear he is in good spirits. I can't picture his face in my mind without a smile on it. Get well soon, JJ—it would be great to hear you play here in YS again.
