"Funniest Man in America" buys shops at Kings Yard auction

This is no April Fools joke! Putting his money where his mouth is, popular comedian and villager Dave Chappelle, who has often professed his love for Yellow Springs, has solidified his ties to the village by committing to purchase a block of shops at Kings Yard, he was telling villagers late this afternoon. The building and some adjacent property was auctioned off at 4 p.m. The reported purchase price is close to, but less than a half-million dollars.
