Camp Scholarships Available

Thanks to a grant from the Yellow Springs Community Foundation, the Yellow Springs Community Council will be administering a limited number of scholarships for local youth in need of financial assistance to attend a summer camp they may otherwise be unable to afford. Scholarships of up to $200 will be provided on a first come-first served basis to Yellow Springs residents in grades K-12. Parents or guardians in need of such financial help should send a copy of the completed camp application to the YSCC, PO Box 274, Yellow Springs OH 45387, who will forward the scholarship money in the child's name directly to the camp. Parents should be sure their contact information is included in the request. Deadline is July 3. Questions can be directed to YSCC board chairperson Pam Conine at 767-8031.
