September 5-26: Birch House Artists Series: Outdoor
Painting and Drawing Workshop
Create art in harmony with nature in Glen Helen when you join
Miami Valley artists Beth Holyoke, Margrit Tydings-Petree, Pat
Robinow and Sherraid Scott for a 4-week session of outdoor
painting and drawing. Bring your own lawn chair, supplies and
easels. We will set out to draw or paint along the paths or
lawn, then enjoy lunch with a roundtable and show and tell of
your on-going work. All levels of artists encouraged to attend.
Please bring a brown bag lunch; Series is $80 for Glen members,

October 17: Birch House Book making Workshop
Join artists
Kim Vito, Barb McBee, and Sherraid Scott to handcraft books with
found and re-used materials. Skills learned include pop-up and
accordion style construction, encouraging collage, writing, and
poetry. Some materials provided, participants will gather
others; details to follow registration. Register by October 1 by
emailing bbryan@glenhelen.org. $55,
or $45 for Glen members. In historic Birch House, South Glen,
10am-4pm.
