The champagne flowed yesterday evening at The Emporium as villagers, alums, and Non-stop faculty celebrated the signing of the agreement whereby the alumni will be able to purchase Antioch College from Antioch University.

Chief Transition Officer Matt Derr toasted the agreement with a bottle of spring water.

The first resolution of the new Antioch is to thank the Yellow Springs with a day of service to the village one day every year in perpetuity, Derr told the crowd at the party.

YS News was present, in spite of it being a Tuesday, the night they put the paper to bed.
