Updated: Glismann goes to Graham

Superintendent of Schools Norm Glismann has taken the superintendent's job at the Graham Schools, the Urbana Daily Citizen reported Wednesday. No word yet who will be taking over as acting Superintendent of the Yellow Springs Schools while the search for a replacement takes place. The next regular School Board meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 13.

Update: The School Board will hold a Meeting of the Whole at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 5 in the Mills Lawn Gym to discuss changes in the lunch program and transportation issues.

He was DEFINITELY not a good fit for YS and I say GOOD RIDDANCE! What did he mean about "family values and work ethic"? As a former teacher, all I can say is that he tried his best to mess up the schools, and in some areas, he succeeded.

I don't disagree that Glismann was probably not a good fit for Yellow Springs, but I am curious about the quote "family values and work ethic." What is the source of that quote?

His comments about "family values and work ethic," were reported in the YS News this week. He apparently got in some parting shots, but as always, he did it like a gentleman.
