The Yellow Springs Community Band performed on Friday night, June 11, as part of the annual Strawberry Festival hosted by the First Presbyterian Church. Band director James Johnston led the band with music by Richard Rodgers, Glenn Miller, John Philip Sousa, and Henry Mancini. The Strawberry Festival continued during Street Fair on Saturday until the strawberries ran out.Photos by Susan Gartner

For those of you who saw the Band Concert...my apologies for walking behind the Band to deposit the monies for Dark Star. I had worked a particularly grueling 6 hour shift and I knew the length of that King & I medley; I had to get home quickly, so I did it as quietly as I could. Not exactly correct concert etiquette, but I was beat and at the time, unable to think what else to do! SORRY!
