Register Now for YSKP Summer Camps

YSKP will offer 3 weeks of Creative Arts Camps, directed by Jill Becker with YSKP alum Kayla Graham, for youth entering grades 1 – 3. The one week camps begin June 18 and July 9 + 16, and will introduce youth to theater, dance, singing, art, mask making and storytelling. Each day includes focused projects for children to explore the various art forms while bringing their own creative ideas to life. Books provide a springboard for creative projects. Campers will show what they have been making and doing with friends and family members on Friday morning of each week at 11:00am. The cost of each camp is $100. There is variety from week to week and children are welcome to attend more than one camp.

Kindermusik classes for young children will be offered by Jill Becker August 13-17, with classes for two different age groups:

Creatures in My Backyard, ages 18 months-3 years old, 9:30-10:15, children attend with a parent or caretaker, Cost $75, which includes a $25 home material fee (music CD, books, small instruments).

ABC Music and Me, ages 3-5 years old, 10:30-11:15, children attend on their own, Cost $75, which includes a $25 home material fee (music CD, books, small instruments).

Children move to music, play simple instruments, read books and learn songs. All activities support the development of the child and lay a foundation for future musical ability.
