Holes and poles for scarecrows

Yelloween Scarecrow Project

In our continued efforts for publicity, community involvement and keeping Yellow Springs an interesting and exciting place; a few of us have plotted to utilize the holes in the sidewalks (4th of July flag pole pockets) for Scarecrows. 55 businesses have already agreed to make or find someone who will make a scarecrow for sidewalk display in front of their businesses. I have made poles with cross members on which to build the scarecrow. ($20 each or fly solo) Please say yes. They will be up from October 14th through Halloween.

I'm sure you understand how continued special efforts are required to keep our community a vital and unique place to visit and shop. We're all in this together.
