Glen Helen Association 29th Annual Nature Arts and Crafts Show

November 20 & 21, 2010

Mark your calendars now for Glen Helen Association’s 29th Annual Nature Arts and Crafts Show taking place Saturday, November 20, 2010 from 9 am to 5 pm and Sunday, November 21 from 11 am to 5 pm in the Glen Helen Building located at 405 Corry Street in Yellow Springs.


Holiday gift givers will find a wide variety of nature-themed artwork for sale at this popular juried show including distinctive clothing, watercolor paintings, photography, natural and organic bath and body products, finely crafted jewelry, quilted wall hangings, wonderful fused and stained glass, as well as artistic and functional pottery. Many of the items for sale are one-of-a-kind.


This year features 27 artists from Ohio, Indiana and Michigan. Local artists returning this year include Marta and Billy Crocker, jewelry; Pam Geisel, art quilts and quilted wall hangings; Sara Gray, floral photography; Christine Klinger, abstract acrylic florals and landscapes; Theresa Mayer, unique lampwork beads that are “paintings” in glass; William Mishler, functional sculptural ceramics; and Libby Rudolf, watercolors and fabric art. New artists this year include local Diane Collinson with hand-built ceramics.

There will be a silent auction on both days of the show and baked goods will also be available. The $4 admission goes to support Glen Helen and its 1,000 acre nature preserve. A coupon for $2 off the entry fee is available at www.glenhelen.org.
