Little Art at The Little Art
"Little Art at The Little Art" exhibiting artists (left to right) Ann Bain, Moya Shea, Mary Peirano, Nancy Mellon, Louise Simons, and Susan Gartner point out their individual contributions currently on display at the Little Art Theatre from June 1-30. The exhibit showcases miniature works of art called Artist Trading Cards or ATCs. Measuring exactly 2½ x 3½ inches, ATCs are never sold, only traded.
The artists pictured represent only a handful of the exhibiting artists. ATCs that were traded with other artists (local and around the country) are also included in the exhibit.
There will be another opportunity for anyone who is interested in participating. The exhibit, "Size Does Matter (Part II)," will be at Village Artisans, July 1-31. All mediums, ages, and artistic abilities are welcome. Limit: Up to 9 ATCs per person. Original designs can be the same but no photocopies accepted. No entry fee, no jury fee.
Artist Trading Cards may be dropped off or mailed to Village Artisans, 100 Corry St., Yellow Springs, OH 45387. Deadline for July exhibit: June 26, 2010.
Face-to-face trading will take place at Village Artisans on Saturday, July 31, 1-3 p.m.
Note: If you cannot attend the trading and wish members of Village Artisans to trade for you, please include an SASE with appropriate postage to cover return mailing. For questions, call Nancy Mellon, (937) 767-1366.
