while it is sad that most responsible pet owners will not be able to enjoy the street fair with their beloved pets, the fact is that a few rotten irresponsible people often ruin a good thing for everybody else. rocky and pee wee can still make it to street fair though, if one of the food vendors brings them ;-)

Technically, Rocky and Pee Wee are not pets, they are farm animals. (Don't tell them that.) We were in the night market in Chiang Mai, Thailand, which is almost as crowded as YS Street Fair, when a guy rode through on an elephant.
But seriously, it's a good law that needs to be enforced.
The Chamber does extend its deepest apologies to Rocky & Pee Wee but as has been noted, this is a matter of safety and the number of dogs at Street Fair seems to be growing exponentially along with their size. We appreciate the understanding of the community.
