The Dayton Metroparks are a gem, user-friendly, well maintained, quite varied. We're especially partial to the one in Germantown which has miles of scenic hiking trails. The town of Germantown itself is a remarkably unique & well-preserved assemblage of early to mid-nineteenth century homes and buildings built on a uniquely designed plan that fostered a sense of community.
