Man hospitalized after 20-foot fall in the Glen

Miami Township Fire and Rescue was called to the area of 1160 Corry Street at 5:30 Saturday afternoon to rescue a man who fell 20 feet into a gorge in Glen Helen after wandering too close to the edge from the bike path, according to a reports in the Dayton Daily News and WHIO-TV. He was taken to Greene Memorial for treatment of fractures in both ankles.

MTFR called for mutual aid from Greene County and Xenia Township to rescue the man with a basket.
