Mortgage crisis call-in show gets WYSO national attention

For the past few weeks, the Blog has been posting announcements about WYSO's three show project called "My Home: Facing the Mortgage Crisis," a programming initiative that had the station collaborating with ThinkTV and the Dayton Daily News. The call-in series ended last Thursday night, but the shows will be compiled into a one-hour show for future broadcast.

In awe of the station's reporting, Corporation for Public Broadcasting's Ken Bode writes on their Website, "From this Ombudsman's perspective, I can't recall seeing a more successful collaboration, greater sensitivity to the problems of a local community, nor more resourceful and effective reporting."
