Lucy Van Ness Fogg who once was a part-owner of the Fogg Farm on Dayton-Yellow Springs road on the outskirts of town has died in Cincinnati. Five years ago, the property was the subject of some controversy when a commercial real estate developer expressed interest in developing the property, which sits right across the road from the Center for Business and Education property.
Update: According to Lucy Fogg's son, Harold, there will be visitation for Lucy at Jackson Lytle & Williams Funeral home (Yellow Springs) on Friday, August 14, from 11AM to 2PM. There will be a funeral service at 2PM followed by the burial. Then family and friends are invited back to Westminster Hall for a gathering and refreshments around 3:30PM.
