Another runaway chicken

The Great Chicken Rescue was a success! Thank you for mentioning the roosting in the trees. I looked this morning but didn't see her. But when we went again there she was. Granted it took the careful herding of an 8 and 4 year old to catch her. But her adventures are over and she's home sweet home ;).

Got this in my Chicken Central email last night:

I have reports of my missing chicken....I thought a raccoon got it, but someone spotted it on the corner of Fairfield and Polecat. Unfortunately, it's late now and I'd never find it. It's a black hen, large with a red comb. Can you post in case someone spots it? I will try to do a search and rescue early tomorrow morning.
