Much loved villager Mitzi Manny died of cancer at the age of 91 on June 24. An account for memorial donations has been set up at the US Bank branch in Yellow Springs. Those willing to donate should specify that they would like to deposit their donation in the Mitzi Manny Memorial Fund (account no. 130112649313). The fund will be used for scholarships for art and music students.
This Sunday (July 25) there will be a memorial service at the Glen Helen Building from 2-4 p.m.
Her children Bruce and Jody are giving away her belongings to any villagers who would like to have them as a memory of her. Just stop by her home at 5 Aspen Court. On Monday, anything that is left will be removed by Home-to-Home.
