A few days ago, it was John Gudgel who was highlighted in the Springfield News-Sun's on-going series "Title Tales" where local sports figures from the past who have excelled in state championship competition are acknowledged. Yesterday it was YSHS State 400 meter champ from the late 90's Andrew Pierce. Nice memories...
