In a much anticipated announcement, WDTN-TV reported, yesterday, that the new Chief of Police of Yellow Springs will be local resident Anthony Pettiford.
"The Village Council is expected to consider legislation approving a contract with Mr. Pettiford at its meeting on November 5," the report stated. "If approved, it is expected that Pettiford's first day on the job will be Monday, November 19."
