Experience Saturday: Ingrid Edwards

“Ingrid Edwards: A Beautiful Life” - presented by the Yellow Springs Arts Council

Saturday, November 10, 2012 (5-6:30pm) at the YS Arts Council Gallery, 111 Corry Street

Ingrid Edwards, former Broadway dancer & NYC-based artist, leads a Gallery Chat followed by a music reception performed by Antioch College students Seth Kaplan & Jenn Wheeler. Edwards's life has been a work of art – enjoy the reflection of her nearly nine decades of experience in her exquisite & impactful acrylic paintings and charcoal drawings.

Ingrid is currently exhibiting CIRCLES AND POCKETBOOKS at the YSAC Community Gallery, and her work is exhilarating. Experience her unique perspective, which motivates her to focus on subjects that have not been explored by other artists. Ingrid’s creative excitement is contagious! Kaplan & Wheeler bring an abstract blend of music to the YSAC Gallery performance space, and they are encouraging audience participation. Expect a surprising eclectic mix of cello, accordion, keyboard, guitar and percussion instruments with Broadway and jazz undertones.

The Yellow Springs Arts Council's Experience Saturday series provides opportunities to share in the talents of our local artists. Join our FB Event or visit www.ysartscouncil.org for more details.
