The Yellow Springs Chamber Orchestra and Community Chorus, conducted by James Johnston, will perform with guest artists, the Triple Helix Piano Trio, on Saturday, Nov. 5, at 7:30 pm at the First Presbyterian Church.Works by Beethoven and Yu-Hui Chang (regional premier) - including Beethoven's Leonore Overture No. 3 and the Triple Concerto for violin, cello and piano. Yu-Hui Chang's It Is an Illusion You Were Ever Free is a setting for piano trio and chorus of three poems by the American poet Frank Bidart, composed and premiered by Triple Helix in Boston in 2010. This performance will be of a revised version for SATB chorus.
