Big weekend for chamber music in YS

Chamber Music Yellow Springs (www.cmys.org) presents the Triple Helix piano trio in concert on Sunday, November 6th, 7:30 p.m., in the Presbyterian Church, 314 Xenia Ave. The trio, from Boston and in residence at Wellesley College, will play the romantic Trio in d minor by Anton Arensky, the bitter and disillusioned Trio in e minor by Dmitri Shostakovich, and "Four Movements" by Shanghai-born composer Bright Sheng, now a professor at the University of Michigan.

Tickets at the door are $20 adults, and $6 students. There are still a few season tickets left at $75, including discount coupons while they last.

WSU Professor Chris Chaffee will give the free pre-concert talk at 6:45 in the church.

Triple Helix will also perform Saturday evening November 5th at 7:30 with the Yellow Springs Community Orchestra and Chorus. See related post: Orchestra & Chorus with Piano Trio, Saturday
