We are looking for something Creative & Original
Some ground rules:
- The design must incorporate “Yellow Springs Street Fair 2010” in some way.
- One design per person.
- The design cannot violate any copyright laws or existing trademarks
- The design itself can have a maximum of 4 colors. The design will be printed on the front of the shirt.
- Please submit your design electronically as an EPS, JPEG, PDF or TIFF file. Please send files no larger than 10 MB. If you are the winner of the contest we may require a 300 dpi final version.
- We reserve the right to make adjustments to the winning design for printing purposes. If necessary, the artist will be contacted in the event that changes will be made.
- By submitting your design it becomes property of the Yellow Springs Chamber of Commerce.
- Use of the design will be limited to t-shirt printing only.
- Send the design via email to kluketic@yellowspringsohio.org with” T-Shirt Contest” in the subject line or you can mail a CD with your design on it to: Yellow Springs Chamber of Commerce, 101 Dayton St., Yellow Springs, OH, 45387
- Include your full name, address, daytime and evening telephone, and email address.
- Winners will be chosen by the Yellow Springs Chamber Of Commerce T-shirt Contest Committee.
- Everyone is eligible to submit their designs.
- Please sign your work so that you receive full recognition.
- The winner will receive two t-shirts with their printed design and the knowledge that we think you’re really creative!
Winners will be notified by postal mail or email (indicate your preference). Contest winners will be recognized on the Yellow Springs Chamber of Commerce Street Fair webpage.

If these Tshirts are being SOLD at Street Fair, then I think the winner of the design should at least get SOME sort of monetary award besides their name on the shirt and 2 free Ts....The Chamber strikes again; another BAD idea....
It's a great idea and the way it's done at most other big street art shows. You can opt out if it doesn't fit your interest in supporting Village events. A better idea would be for you to do the shirts yourself and sell them for whatever you want. I'm sure you could make a bundle.
I don't understand the "Chamber strikes again..." What does that mean? They seem to do good things to promote Yellow Springs and local business.
