The Arts at Antioch group would like
to invite community members to join us for the first in an on-going
Contemporary Arts Roundtable, scheduled for Wednesday evening, May
16, 7:30-9:00pm in the Herndon Gallery. The first
roundtable will be an open conversation focused around the topic of
material meaning in contemporary art. The discussion will begin by
a consideration of two suggested readings that are available
electronically by contacting deagleson@antiochcollege.org,
and will also be held on reserve in the Olive Kettering Library.
With the
design of a Roundtable, we hope to create an open and lively forum
that allows us to investigate challenging
questions being addressed in contemporary art, and to gain
from each other's knowledge and sensibilities. Participants will
determine the topics of future discussions. For more information,
