Only 10 more spots available in Yellow Springs

Ohio Attorney General to give program in YS and Xenia
Nov. 15 at AUM (AM) and Xenia Public Library (PM)

Beth Short and Dionne DeNunzio of the Ohio Attorney General's Charitable Law Section will be presenting on several topics on November 15 for nonprofit leadership in our area. The program will cover legal responsibilities of board members, legal issues related to fundraising, filing requirements and other tips for charitable organizations to avoid problems. It will first be given in Yellow Springs in the morning then repeated in Xenia in the afternoon. Registrations will be held at 8:30 a.m. at Antioch University Midwest for a program between 9:00 a.m. and 11:30a.m. with Virgil Hervey as the contact (virgil@yscf.org) and 12:30 p.m. at the Xenia Branch of the Greene County Public Library for a program between 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. with Alan Staiger as the contact (astaiger@gcpl.lib.oh.us). This program is jointly sponsored by the Yellow Springs Community Foundation, Morgan Family Foundation and Greene Giving.

You may not register for both programs as they will be identical. However, as registration in Yellow Springs will be limited to 35 participants, if you get shut out, you may try to register for the Xenia event. Reserving a spot at either location is strongly suggested. To reserve for the Yellow Springs presentation, please email Yellow Springs Community Foundation Administrator Virgil Hervey at virgil@yscf.org, leaving your name, nonprofit and position.

Stay tuned for more details.
