The poor and late publicity about this should reduce voter turnout. That generally helps incumbents and local tax issues.
Is there any explanation for the change?
I just shot an email to villager Don Hollister who is on the Board of Elections, asking him to explain. I'll post it when I get it.

How good is handicapped parking? Sometimes it was ATROCIOUS at the Bryan Center...downhill and far away; they changed it every time. That may be a factor, too....
