Antioch Writers' Workshop 2011

The 26th edition of the Antioch Writers' Workshop got underway last night with a reception and keynote speech by novelist Nancy Pickard. Pickard, who writes mysteries and literary fiction, talked about how every story should have an epiphany. She said that her personal epiphany came when she learned that at a writers' workshop near the start of her career. The keynote was open to the public for free and, as usual, many villagers were in attendance in addition to the workshop participants.
