Another election year is upon us and what better way to become acquainted
with your national, state, and local candidates
than at a candidate forum on agriculture? The Greene County
Farm Bureau, Greene County Fair Board, OSU Extension, and Tecumseh Land Trust are hosting a Greene County
Candidate Forum on Agriculture on September
12, at 7 PM at the Greene County Fairgrounds in the Buckeye
Room, 100 Fairground Rd.,
Xenia.
Agriculture is the largest
industry in the county which is why it is an important focus of the upcoming
election. The sponsoring organizations would like
to offer the candidates an
opportunity to communicate their views
on various agricultural related
topics to the community. The audience
will
also be
asked to share their concerns about
agricultural issues and ask specific questions of the candidates.
This event is
free and open to the public. Many candidates
are already planning
to attend, so it is sure to be an
informative evening. For more information or questions regarding
this forum please contact
Michele
Burns at 937-767-9490 or burns@tecumsehlandtrust.org. Participation
in this event does not indicate endorsement by
any of the sponsoring organizations.
