The public peace vigil continues, just as the U. S. wars against Iraq and Afganistan continue.
Every Saturday, rain, shine or snow, citizens of the area who oppose the wars give public witness to their concern. We are not a club, a denomination, a party or a denomination. Everyone who opposes war, exploitation and injustice is welcome. Bring your own sign, borrow one from the "sign library" which is available or stand at the corner of Xenia Avenue and Limestone Street between 12 noon and 1 p.m. without a sign. The wars, and the vigil, are now entering the 9th year.
