At the John Bryan Community Pottery Gallery

The Opening Reception for "Figures of Clay" will be hosted this Friday, January 18 (6-9pm) at the John Bryan Community Pottery Gallery.  This new ceramic art exhibit of sculptural work from local artist Beth Holyoke deals with fantastic, strange and humorous aspects of the (mostly) human figure.  Many of the sculptures are realistic, some are not at all.

On January 19 from 2-4pm, Beth will offer a free community workshop called, Making Faces.  Held in the John Bryan Community  Pottery Studio, all adults and children are invited to come and make a face using soft clay after seeing Beth’s approach to this fascinating art form.  All the work will be fired to be picked up later.
