Farmers’ market season is upon us. The Yellow Springs Farmers’ Market in King’s
Yard will officially reopen this Saturday, May 4 at 7am until noon. This week for our opening day, we’ll have
vendors with fresh organic produce including lettuce, spinach, swiss chard,
beets and more, organic meats and eggs, 100% pure maple syrup from Greene County,
handmade soaps, native trees and shrubs, and vegetable starts. Fab Ferments from Cincinnati will be there with their
incredible sauerkraut, beet kvass, and kambucha. Two new vendors will join us this year – Rue
Farms with delicious homemade potato chips, desserts, candies, and spices; and
Greenmoore Farms with locally raised meats, eggs, and homemade cherry syrup.
Every Saturday from now until mid November customers can be
sure to find all locally grown or produced products at the Yellow Springs
Farmers’ Market in King’s Yard located in downtown Yellow Springs behind the
Trail Tavern. Visit www.yellowspringsfarmersmarket.com
or follow us on Facebook for more information.
