Thanks for the update! Almost forgot it's that time of year again. Thanks for the list of things to do.

We have a created a best of yellow springs map to help people find some of these places and even if they can't make it Friday, just to find places to eat, shop, and be merry.

Thanks so much to you Virgil for promoting the Friday Fling and other events in Yellow Springs. I also love the map and information from Bing Design. It's great to see the community working together to get the word out about Yellow Springs as we try hard to attract visitors, shoppers and hopefully new residents and businesses.

Another event I want to promote is the Community Yard Sale being held the same weekend as the Bike events. On Saturday, May 15 from 10 am to 5 pm, the Chamber is encouraging residents and organizations to set up their own Yard Sale so they can earn/raise money. All proceeds are yours alone. The advantage to having your sale on this weekend is to take advantage of the regional promotion the Chamber will be doing for the event that should attract people by virtue of the scope of the event. It is also the same day as the Glen Helen Garage Sale so if you're not interested in doing one yourself, you can donate items to the Glen. Another welcome benefit is that the Village Clean Up is scheduled the week after the Yard Sale so anything you don't sell can be placed in your normal trash pickup location and Rumpke will be picking it up the following week.
