Springs Gallery presents Christine & James Klinger

Springs Gallery at Kings Yard in Yellow Springs is pleased to present the raku ceramic art of James Klinger, and the oil and acrylic paintings of Christine Klinger. The exhibit, titled, “Flora and Fauna—Recent Works of James and Christine Klinger” runs December 16 through February 16, 2012, with an opening reception Friday, December 16 from 6 to 9 pm. The reception coincides with Yellow Springs’ monthly “Third Friday Fling in the Springs,” with later gallery and shop hours, live music, and other festivities throughout the Village. Both the exhibit and the reception are free and open to the public.

James Klinger, of Yellow Springs, has been working in clay since 1976. He is known for his striking pottery, sculpture, and wall art fired in the raku tradition. His sculptures often depict and honor the animal and plant realms. James shows and sells his work at art festivals and fine art galleries throughout the United States, including Springs Gallery in Yellow Springs.

Christine Klinger, of Yellow Springs, has been painting nature themes and images in oils and acrylics since 2006. Most recently she has been creating expressionistic landscapes and florals. Christine exhibits and sells her artwork in local galleries including Springs Gallery in Yellow Springs. Christine is the owner of Springs Gallery.
