Thriller practice dates

There is a practice tonight!

Yellow Springs Dance is again sponsoring this year’s “Thrill the World,” the worldwide, zombie-filled, simultaneous choreographed dance to Michael Jackson’s Thriller. The dance will be performed Saturday, Oct. 29 at 10 p.m. at the Bryan Center, 100 Dayton Street.

Weekly teaching sessions will be held in the Senior Center’s Great Room for those interested in learning the Thriller dance steps. The Senior Center is located at 227 Xenia Avenue.

Here is the teaching schedule:

Friday, Sept. 30, 6-7:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 5, 5-6:15 p.m.
Monday, Oct. 10, 6:30-8 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 16, 4:30-6 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 26, 5-6:15 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 29, noon-1:30 p.m.

Those not able to perform on Oct. 29 may also participate in performances during the annual Zombie Walk on October 22 (downtown YS some time around 7:30-8 p.m.), and downtown YS after community trick-or-treating on Saturday, Oct. 29 (6-8 p.m.).
