Little Art celebrates nonprofit status with Free Movie Weekend, 10/30 - 11/1

The Little Art Theatre will celebrate its new status as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a Free Movie Weekend, October 30 through November 1. Playing that weekend will be the comedy Taking Woodstock , from Oscar-winning director Ang Lee (Sense & Sensibility, Brokeback Mountain).

Although admission is free, voluntary donations of any size to benefit the nonprofit Little Art Theatre will be collected at the box office. Free Movie Weekend does not apply to the Saturday matinee of Ponyo, nor the Sunday Screenpeace matinee.

Showtimes for Taking Woodstock are Friday, October 30 at 7 p.m. and 9:20 p.m.; Saturday, October 31 at 4:15 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9:20 p.m.; and Sunday, November 1 at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Taking Woodstock stars Demetri Martin, Emile Hirsch, Imelda Staunton, Henry Goodman, Jonathan Groff, Mamie Gummer, Eugene Levy, and Liev Schreiber. This film is Rated R for graphic nudity, some sexual content, drug use and language.
