Quilters, other YS artists show in the region


Dayton Visual Art Center's 18th Annual Open Members' Show
The show's theme is "Green" and can be viewed until Aug. 20 at the DVAC gallery, 118 N. Jefferson St., Tues. through Sat. from 11 am to 6 pm. Yellow Springs artists who are participating are David Battle, Corrine Bayraktaroglu, Pam Geisel, Lori Gravley, Jon Barlow Hudson and Nancy Mellon. Pam Geisel's quilt "What You Can Do to Save the Planet" (above) is in the show.


"Winged Messengers" Quilt Show at Aullwood
Pam Geisel and Fran LaSalle both have quilts in the Aullwood Audubon's 17th Annual Art Quilt Exhibit, which includes art quilts from across the country that feature the theme "Winged Messengers." The exhibit runs through August 15 at the Aullwood Audubon Center and Farm, located at 1000 Aullwood Rd., in Dayton. Pam's piece "Early Morning Hermit Thrush" (above) is in this show.
