When you consider the facts of the number of folks already using Ellis for their dogs, there really is no logic in their opposition, only emotion and narrow interests deciding they alone should control public property.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1194623735250607631.post-43981586612716700752010-03-28T09:04:17.278-04:002010-03-28T09:04:17.278-04:00The Stutzman's property really should be off t...The Stutzman's property really should be off the table in this discussion. The village needs to rent that property to a viable business to get income from it. Putting a dog park there will only make it less attractive to potential lessees.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1194623735250607631.post-57227487695376346442010-03-28T08:28:22.804-04:002010-03-28T08:28:22.804-04:00Its easy to see why there won't be any new bus...Its easy to see why there won't be any new businesses in town. If citizens can't accept a fenced-in area at Ellis Pond, what hope is there they would accept any new building for commerce? Everyone loves a natural area but there is Glen Helen, John Bryan Park and Clifton Gorge. In the next few years YS will become a bedroom community for Wright-Patterson and/or wealthy retirement town like Sun City. AT least I have all those empty areas like the clinic and Verney lots to walk my dog.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
